Will Ex Husband's Current Spouse Pay Child Support While Incarcerated

My ex husband is about to go to jail for up to 10 years. I have heard that in Tennessee that his spouse can be held responsible for his child support while he is incarcerated. Is this true? She will be receiving his military benefits and it only seems right that something should go to his child.
