Visitation Rights After Year Absence

I'm the father of a 2 year old that the mother (we were never married) has denied me access to for over a year now. She changes her phone number and her family will not answer my calls or return my calls. The last time I seen him was on his 1st birthday. I believe he has my last name and I'm listed on the birth certificate as his father but I am at a loss as to where to go or what to do to start seeing my son again. As far as I know there is no court order for child support. Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
