Unfair Child Support Issue

I have been on disability for almost 4 years now. Now my ex wants more child support even though it was just modified last year. I have no other income but disability. Her excuse is that the 2 kids need braces.

When I finally got my disability, she got almost 10,000 dollars from my disability payment in a lump sum and did nothing to get them braces. Now she claims that they need braces and wants more child support. I barely make it as it is cause I have type one diabetes and have severe tears in my rotator cuffs. I'm going through physical therapy right now and the bills are stacking up. I also have a 2 year old daughter and step son that I support.

Is this possible. I have a hearing on the 4th of April. I cannot afford an attorney. I feel that everytime I go through this I get the shaft. I am not even permitted to speak to my children which I think is against the law but they never hear me on that. It's always about the woman and forget the man.
