Trying For Child Support Reduction

The mother had our one child, filed for support while not working or married. Has since left NC to PA, so that I can not see my child. I have no criminal record, am employed in Law Enforcement. She has since got married and has two children with the husband. Im still paying max child support and would like some relief on the obligation. Can I file a review to lower payments, and use some or all of her husbands income...to off set to MAX payment..

In Iowa they do not consider the new spouses income when figuring support. You could try to get your support lowered based on her status though. Her situation has changed and the courts would consider that but not the income.
