The problem is that he lives in another state

My ex husband is an illegal using someone's elses social security number and does not pay child support at all. I live in Florida where there is an court order for him to pay child support weekly. He live in Dever, Colorado which he avoids paying child support. I keep calling to see what the State of Florida is going to do to make him make but they keep telling me that they are reviewing the case to take back to court for contempt but this has been two years since he has even paid regularly. We have three children and times are hard, so a little help would be helpful especially being a single mom. I should graduate soon with an Associate's Degree until then I do need and have been needing help.

Today, I told the Department of Revenue that he might be drawing unemployment benefits in Colorado but they tell me there is nothing they can do unless he is living here in Florida. We have been to court without him being present and they just let him go without any penalties against him. I believe he can get away with murder here in the State of Florida. I just believe nobody in the systems seems to care except making sure they have their paycheck at the end of the week. If it was someone else here in the State of Florida doing what he is doing, they would've already have suspended his license and thrown him in jail. My friend gets more results than I do and her ex-husband lives in Wyoming. Except her ex has a green card. So what I am guessing is that you can do anything you want here in the State of Florida if you are illegal and using another social security card.
