Supervised Visitation With Abusive Father

I am currently not with the father of my child but I want to allow him to see his child. He has an anger issue and there has been domestic violence in our past. I do not want him to keep the baby over night but I do want him to be apart of his life. how will this work out.

Hi Stephanie,

You will have to take the father to court and get the judge to order supervised visits. Unless the father will agree. There are safe houses where mediators sit in on the visits. Have you talked to the father and is he willing to cooperate?
