Stopping Child Support On 18 Year Old

My daughter has moved in with me (father) she is 18 and is graduating from high school in a few weeks. Im still paying child support for her. I also have another child with my ex who is 17 he still lives with her(mother). My daughter plans on attending college can i file for child support from her mother?

Dear Bill,

If your child is 18, then you must request for her to be emancipated and the child support stopped. This can be done through your caseworker. Unless a divorce decree states a child can be given child support through college, then no you cannot receive support for her after the age of 18. Do you owe any back support?
