Signing Over Rights And Paying Child Support

Me and ex boyfriend have come to a agreement that he will sign over his rights to our soon to be 7month old daughter and to the child that I am currently caring! But if he signs over his right will he still have to pay child support?

Thank you for your question. The answer is possibly yes. It depends on the laws in your state. There were state laws enforced about "signing over rights" so that Dads could not basically find a loop hole about getting out of paying support. You will need to contact the Illinois child support enforcement and ask your questions. The number and website info is below:
