Signing Off Back Child Support Owed By Custodial Parent

This is my situation. I was married to my ex for 3 yrs. we had a nasty divorce. He was ordered to pay support when my child was 10. He now owes 25,000 in back support. my child is now 18. He wants her to sign off on it, is this possible?
