Resident Residing Outside Of Usa

I have a friend who is a US resident, and receiving child support in the US in the state of Florida... I am curious, is she still entitled to receive the child support benefits even though she has remained outside of the US and is not maintaining any type of address/job etc? Or is what she is doing illegal?

Dear Eric,

That depends. You can receive child support if you live internationally. It would be the responsibility of the child's father to report her and then child support will contact her to update her information. Is the father visiting the child in question?
