Question Concerning Back Child Support

by Shawn Bancrof
(Colorado)

I have a question concerning back child support payment, how long does it take after the back child support arrears have been paid off completely for it to clear i.e. so that it doesn't show on credit/tax background checks, etc. The state where I paid my back child support is Ohio. Also should I file any specific documents or do anything so that it get cleared or is this automatic process.

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
Shawn Bancrof

Pay an attorney to dot the 'i's and cross the 't's. For a few hundred bucks you can be sure that the file is closed properly. Assuming things just happen or go away in the child support world is an expensive mistake.
