Paying Child Support After Child Turns 18 Years Old

If a child turns 18 in October, but the child is still in high school does the parent still have to pay child support until he graduate in May? Also if the child goes to college does the parent have to pay child support until he's 20 or 21 as a full time student? If so does the money go directly to the child that's in college?

Child Support

Every state is different. Usually a child does not receive child support after the age of 18, unless it is court ordered. Call or go online to your state's child support website to try and find answers. Are the Child support payments current?
