Passport Denial Not For Child Support But For Alimony

I know that if someone has child support arrears totaling more than $2,500.00, a passport renewal will be denied. But what if it is alimony and not child support?

You are correct about passport denial for $2,500 or more owed. We don't know of any laws that apply to monies owed for alimony.
