Parent owing arrears had cancer surgery

My ex boyfriend was diagnosed with lung cancer, he stopped working and modified his court order to pay less. The judge reduced his order for 6 months and we will review again in March 2011. He is currently over 1000 dollars in arrears. His wife makes huge money working for a lawyer. THey are doing well financially and I am calling for fuel assistance. Is there any way to attatch the wifes paycheck or intercept her taxes for the arrears? We all live in Massachusetts
