Paid child support in full

Both my daughters are over 18-years old and graduated. My back child support bills after this never seem to change. One year ago a Child Support Services lady called and said I didn't need to pay anymore and I had over-paid, and of course I could not be reimbursed. But that was fine with me, since I was finished paying.
A month later, the same lady called and said I was audited and still needed to pay. My heart sank. The first statement after the audit I received from CSS had a balance due in the amount of $2000. It was paid down to $1200, then all of a sudden the next statement I received a few months ago said the balance due was $6000. I have not received any explanation for this.
They automatically take my payments out of my SSI Disability check. My SSI monthly check doesn't have a stub that shows the deduction so I have no proof of payments made. I never received anything from CSS regarding the audit and why I owed more child support, the records I have just show the amount I owe without any other information other than that. I feel like I am being taken advantage of and there is no end. How would one go about this situation in order to find out if I am?
Just prior the audit, my oldest daughter owed child support on her child, it was odd the amount she owed at the time of the audit was the same amount that they said I owed. Could this have anything to do with the audit stating I owed once again? Her child support was past due in the amount of $4000 just recently, she was able to pay it off in full but I am still paying on my never ending balance that keeps getting higher.
I would greatly appreciate any help or advice with this. Thank you.
