No Order To Pay Child Support

by Steven S.
(Arizona)

Thankx for any response... I had custody of my to kids and she paid me child support here in arizona. I agreed and gave her custody and the courts never set up a child support amount and never addressed it except to say to have a court date later wich never happened. Now I am told I owe back child support and had to give 3 years worth of tax information.

Can they do this even though no order was in place. I was told I can deduct money I did give her. But 3 years back support as they see it. Now is this legal as no order was in place? Someone told me that the intent was there even though no court date ever happened and thats why they are going back for back support now.
Thankx for any responce, much apreciated.
