Need Help Fast With Child Support

My husband and i have been separated for about 3 years. Not legally but living apart. He was paying me child support up until 5 months ago. This is when he moved out of state. so for 5 months Ive received nothing. He told me he was not working so i didn't pursue collecting child support but now i found out he has been working for at least 2 months but i still get nothing in child support. My question is how do i go about getting child support. Do i go through the courts or somewhere else. We have 2 children 13 and 16.
