My son lives with me

by Derrick
(Mayfield, KY)

My sons mother took me to court shortly after he was born for child support. I was order to pay, witch i had no problem doing until she left and could not be contacted for months. I filed a petition for abandonment with the court system and on the day of court she showed up and they gave her back full custody. He is 9 years old now and i have been going threw this on a regular basis.

He has not stayed with her for longer than 1 or 2 day in over a year and a half but i still have to pay her support. She is not on drugs or unfit other than the fact that she just does not want to take care of him due to wanting to take trips ect ect...(with my money) and i cant get anything done about this situation when we have been to court in the past the judge had told me it is not my concern what she does with her child support! She gets state aide and will not sign custody to me because she does not want to lose any aide she may get from him they wont let me claim him on my income tax returns i could go on forever i need some advise.
