My Ex Will Relinquish Parental Rights If Child Support Is Void

My almost-ex husband has had virtually no contact with his daughter (b. 11-27-06). We are finally almost through with divorce proceedings, and he will relinquish parental rights but wants a waiver on all future child support payments. I believe that since we planned the pregnancy in good faith and our marriage fell apart because of the pregnancy, he is responsible for the resulting child, regardless of parental rights.
