Living with the mother of my child

by Nicholass
(West Allis, WI, U.S.)

My girlfriend is currently pregnant, we will be moving in together in two months. She does not want to get married at this time. She already applied for Badgercare though ,saying we do not live together. I do not have health insurance and can't afford a family plan when it is offered to me. Once she informs Badgercare of the new living situation, will I still end up having to pay for sll the health costs involved with the birth and everything for the baby afterward?

The baby will not be born for at least another six months after we move in together. If yes, it really seems like Badgercare doesn't actually offer health coverage for children, it merely forces the father to pay for everything.
