Im Over Paid By $5000 In Florida

I have an order for extra income deduction to come out for arrears that I never owed. First of all how do I stop this and next how do I get the money back or will my support just end early. I called child support and they said I have to take her back to court to get it removed and I have to pay to serve her. Ridiculous. I never owed the money They just did not receive it right away when it was ordered and so she filed to get the amount back it has now been two years and I have went round and round with child support to get it removed. What are my options?

Hi Kevin,

Your options are to hire an attorney. Here is why. If you have over payed then your ex will have to pay you the money back. An attorney can also get the order stopped so that no more future extra payments are deducted. Do you owe any back support?

I have been thru with child support for a few yrs now.I over paid more that $5000.00.They gave me a hard time.I too would like to have my money back.I couldnt get any lawyer to take my case.I wish you good luck.If you get anywhere with your caes I would very much appreciate if you let me know.
