How Far Back Does GA Calculate Arrears or Back Child Support?

I currently reside in Florida, and the NCP is in Georgia. I received an Order which included arrears only dated back to 4/16/09. My daughter was born 4/20/04. The NCP has not paid anything since she was born. Why did they only go back a couple of months rather than the standard 2 years?

Not Sure Why
by: Child Support America Team Member

Hello,

We are not sure why Florida child support would only go back a few months if there has been a child support order since 2004.

You should check with your case worker and find out why, because this doesn't sound right. If you are having problems with your case worker check out our new VIP membership program by clicking on the VIP memberships button to your left.

Take care,

CSA STAFF
