How Do I Stop Paying Child Support In North Carolina

by Des Anderson
(charlotte,nc)

I'm paying child support for my youngest son. I buy everything he needs for clothing, pay medical insurance, all sports participation, and have him every weekend and holidays but still pay child support and don't see were the money is going. I do everything that a father is suppose to do for his child than more. I also have a older child which i have custody of by the same women is it possible for her to pay me support. Very curious!

Child Support Questions

Yes if you have legal custody of your older son than you can collect support for him from her. If you do not have legal custody than you should obtain it immediately, otherwise you have no rights. Also are you ordered to pay all of the extras such as medical insurance etc.? If you are not ordered then why are you paying for more?

Thanks
