How do I stop child support against ncp

My child's father lives with me and our son. All three of us live with my mother and are currently under her benefits case, receiving medicaid and food stamps. I am trying to stop my case so he can pay off everything he owes because he has a tremendous amount of arrears. He is known to the court as the non custodial parent, however if I'm not mistaken that means that the child does not live with him. Yet we all live together. Do I have any options regarding this matter?

CHILD SUPPORT

Of course you have options in this matter. If you go to the child support enforcement division where it was ordered he pay. Let them know you want to drop the child support that he lives with you and you forgive his arrears. That you don't want no back pay or on going child support, because he lives with you make sure he goes with you they will make you both sign papers.

He has to do it.

He will have to file a motion with the court to have the child support removed. Once he files the motion he will be given a court date. Do not be surprised if the state refuses to remove the back child support owed. Child Support does not remove child support orders neither can the custodial parent.
