How do I cease a child support order if we both agree

by Carrie
(Wisconsin)

My husband and I are legally separated and he is paying child support. However, we have reconciled, live together, and share all financial responsibilities. We plan on ceasing the legal separation (once we figure out how to do it on our own). How can we remove the child support order? It is silly that he continues to pay child support to essentially himself and we have to pay a fee to the state. We are not on, nor ever been on any financial assistance programs. Thank you.

GO TO YOUR LOCAL CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT AGENCY. TALK TO YOUR CASE WORKER AND TELL THEM YOU WANT TO DROP THE CHILD SUPPORT, BECAUSE YOU TWO LIVE TOGETHER. BOTH OF YOU SHOULD GO IN SINCE MORE THAN LIKELY THEY WILL MAKE YOU SIGN PAPERS
