Health Care Insurance And Custody

by house note
(Jackson, Mississippi)

I am in the middle of a nasty custody battle for joint legal and physical custody of my son. During the proceedings I was told that the health care insurance that i am paying for is not a consideration during the child support process. Currently i pay 450 a month for full coverage insurance for my kid plus now they want me to pay another 725 a month on top of that.

Anyone can do the math on this one that is 1175 a month for one child and i need to know if I can contest this in anyway. I am willing to pay 725 to include health insurance but dang how am i paying a house note for one child. I could see if i had 3 kids but one child my son is going to cost me 1175 a month come on.
