Getting Back Child Support Arrears Canceled Out

I owe a lot of money in back child support. My ex agreed to write in paper that we could delete all the back support. what do i have to do to make this happen. write a note the says: I find it in the best interest of our child and her father to have all back child support that has been accumulated to be deleted.

Hi Mike,

You will need to call your local child support office and ask the procedure about waiving back support. Every state is different and have procedures and guidelines. Your ex may be required to actual be the one who files. Have you contacted the office yet?
