Fired From Job So No Child Support

My child's father was recently fired from his job. He plans on receiving an unemployment check. Does unemployment allot money for child support?

Is there any action that I should take to notify the child support office that he stopped working, so that they can start to accrue the payments that he owes?

Yes contact Child Support. They will order the monies to be garnished from his unemployment earnings. Are his payments current?
