Father Owes Arrears And Wants Off Child Support

Hello, my daughter is now 12 years old and the father has just started paying child support now for a year but has arrears of $30,000. Will CSE intercept his taxes or do I have to contact the agency to find out especially when he is trying to get me to take him off child support. Mind you he does not contact my daughter, no birthdays , Christmas, or hey how are you doing? And is fighting to keep me from getting full custody so my husband can adopt her. What shall I do?

Since your ex is over $2,500 in arrears the IRS will automatically intercept his tax return.

Over $2500? How much will the IRS take. If you are to get a refund of $3500, will they take all of it?

You said your ex is fighting you trying to stop the adoption of his children by your husband. Wow!!! He cant be that much of a deadbeat of he still wants to be their father. You seem to be leaving something out of the picture.

How can I get in contact with my daughter if i dont have her contact information and all of her emails and phone calls are being screened when I call. Futhermore the only contact information that i have had has been changed with no intentions of updating me. On another note I barely see my daughter and nasty would be taking you to court to get joint custody something I should have done a long time ago.

Father stop working in 0ctOber 2010 :Father Owes Arrears 2,125.00 wants the judge to lower child support. because he stop working at post office in kansas city he's trying to get disabilty in which he was denied in Decmber.causing finanical hardship for me.

What can a father do?

My son is 23 years this year. I have paid over $30,000 in child support over the years. I am STILL paying back arrears.

My drivers license was suspended in December and my passport is also in jeopardy.

I have always been in my son's life but the mother having full custody has done and said some nasty things. When I look back I am realizing how much this has kept me down.

Here we are almost 23 years later dealing with the situation. When and how can I make it stop.
