Ex Never Paid Child Support When We Were Married

I was Married until 2 years ago after the divorce I found out my ex wife was not paying my child support for my oldest daughter like she stated she was. I gave her all of money every week and she paid all of the bills out of that. My question is does she have to pay half of my back child support owed during the time we were married in the state of California is this a debt that should be split due to we were married?
