Child Support
by: Child Support America Team Member

Dear Kevin,

Legally no. You may want to consider taking her to small claims court depending on the amount and sue her for the money back. Your child support is your obligation. Just because you were married does not mean your wife is legally responsible for your child. The child in question, was this from a previous relationship? She is not your child with your wife correct?
