Do I Need To Provide Medical Insurance Through My Employer

I have two orders of medical support and am currently employed with the company's insurance plan for myself...am i required to enroll my children in the company's plan which would run me a pretty penny? i wouldn't be able to afford the cost of living if so. i was wondering do i have the option of finding my own provider for the medical insurance which could potentially save me hundreds of dollars each check and thru-out the month? im afraid of my job trying to enforce their insurance plan to receive the extra money. please explain if i have the option to pick a provider or do i have to take my employers insurance plan fr them?
