DNA Test Results

Me, my sona nd alleged father took a apternity test in 2005. The results clearly stated this guy is NOT my son's father. Five years later, the case is reopened and when I call for DNA test results from records...they are lost? I live in another city and refuse to take another test when I know the results. The people that answer the phones are incompetent and can't even tell me what lab to check with. How in the hell does the State lose DNA test results?!
