Cse Is Holding My Child Support In Georgia

by Kira
(Elberton, GA)

Child support enforcement is holding my child support which was taken out of the ncp's income tax.

The GA law states that this is held for 45 to 180 days in order for the ncp to request a hearing to object to this.

The 45 days is almost up and I want to know if there is anyway that I can get this without waiting the whole 180 days.

The ncp is not going to object to this. He knows he owed it to me.

Thank you!
Kira Swygert

Hi Kira,

No, there are guidelines and the system really will stick to them. Does your ex owe back support?
