Court Visitation Days

by mark huberts
(philadelphia, pa usa)

Currently i have a 6 month daughter & her mother and i can't be in a relationship. we brokeup when she was 2 weeks old. I am a car salesman and my schedule is crazy & i am very busy but my ex allows me to visit at my convenience, and i admit at times i do take advantage of it. i do pay her support every month by check. sometimes this visiting on my time causes us to fight since she says i need to have a set day and time to visits because it isn't fair to call her up and let her know i wanted to visit later on and she never knows if i am staying for 5minutes or 5 hours.

She says she makes my life easier by making her life more difficult. she said if we go by court they set my time and visiting days, but not to work with my work schedule, they make it whats best for our daughter. she will not allow me to take her out of the house over night, she says i must learn her before that happenes, meaning i have to spend full days maybe even over night once a week to learn. so what do i do take it to court or be kind to her for making it easy for me on my time.

DEAL WITH HER SHE WILL BE THERE THE NEXT SEVERAL YEARS OF LIFE, DON'T LIVE LIFE STRESSED. BE PATIENT AND YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU WANT

id be as calm as possible with the baby's mother if she allows things on your time. not many have it that way so i think your extremely blessed & lucky to have that. if you feel you want to take the chance with going through court i am 90% you will regret it afterwards wishing you could take it all back to making your life easier.

it will interfere with your work schedule, it may even cause you to lose your occupation & you may need to find something with consistant hours. it is about the child before anything else. the court will not go by your work schedule, they go by childs interests & whats convenient for their hours with naps and so on.......suck it up because most of the time men have no say in this situation.
