Collection Account Matter Needs Child Support Lawyer

The member had been disputing a collection account that was appearing on his credit report for months. This was connected to an apartment he had lived in years ago. When the member moved everything was fine between him and the landlord. The first that the member knew of any problem was when he saw the collection item on his credit report years later. The collector refused to provide any information to the member despite his repeated requests. Our attorney sent a letter requesting verification of the debt. Within one week the collector responded by promising to close the account and delete the negative information from the members credit report.
