by Patsy
(Bahamas)

My sons father has a judgment to pay child support - he moved to the US so that he doesn't have to pay it - he is applying for US citizenship - what can i do to enforce his child support payments?

Hi Patsy,

It is very important that you contact your caseworker in the Bahamas and inform them of your ex's moving to the U.S. It is important that a case be opened in the state where he is residing as well. Do you know which state he has moved to?
