Child Support For The Kid Not The Mom

My husband has been paying child support for years for his 17 year old son and has joint custody but has not gotten to see the kid and the mom will not give the kid the money she put him in a boys home with mo visitation or contact from us just her, he wants to come live with us, what can we do?

If the child is under the emancipation age child support will go to the parent. There is no way around this. Are you current in your payments?
