Child Support Calculation For Shared Parenting

I have recently received notification that child support that I am supplying has been requested for review by my X spouse. The original agreement was established using the child support calculator although the number was reduced due to considerations of our 50%50% shared parenting agreement.

Will Stark County CSCA consider shared parenting costs when calculating the revised child support amount. My child is with me 50% of the time and I cover many of her costs even though I am not the custodial parent.

Child Support Questions
by: CSA Staff

Thank you for your question. Usually Yes they will consider this. Be ready to prove and show the documentation that you provide 50% of her costs and have her half of the time. This is very important in case your ex tries to say otherwise. We wish you well!

Thanks
