The letter stated that they were falsely reporting improper back child support to the credit bureaus. The letter also stated that this was a violation of the fair crediting reporting act.
So can you guess what happened after that?
About a week later I received a letter from Virginia child support saying that they were no longer reporting me to the credit bureaus any longer. This was a great feeling. I had finally won this battle. Most importantly, I didn’t have to go to court or hire an expensive attorney to do it.
This is the beauty of having this legal service. There is great power in having a legal team on your side. When I was going back and forth between case workers I was considered a joke. But when my network attorney wrote a letter on my behalf it changed everything.
