Child Support Arrears Forgiven In Michigan

I am in need of legal assistance for child Support Arrears. I had a child in 1979. I join the military in 1984, and was sent overseas. I got out of the military in 1992 and lived abroad. I came back into the military in 2007 and now the State of Michigan says I owe thousands of dollars in Child Support Arrears. My wages are being garnished, which is causing me financial difficulty.
