Child 18 Graduated High School Stopping Child Support

My daughter is 18 and has graduated high school. My divorce papers state that I must pay child support until she is 18 and has graduated high school. Do I just stop paying or must I notify the court or get a modification? I live in Washington State.

Hello,

You must notify your child support office and ask the procedure. Make sure you tell them what the divorce decree states and that you can provide proof.
