California Back Child Support

I just found out i am the father if an 18 yr old will i have to pay back child support if someone else payed he though he was the father all this time and payed support till the child was 18.i was thinking he could come after me for back support

Hi Jay,

I wouldn't worry about it. You didn't know either so how could you have paid support for the child. The man who paid the support can sue the mom for deception, not you. Have you ever had contact with the child?
